Our last Signature Luncheon of the year went out w Our last Signature Luncheon of the year went out with a bang! 💥

We had nearly 200 in attendance for the State of Local Government to hear updates from our local elected officials and representatives. Here are some of the things we learned today:

⭐️Putnam County’s population continues to grow with an estimated 85,000 residents in 2025. That’s up from 72,000 in 2010!
⭐️Algood is looking at updates for Algood Park and they want to hear from you. Drop a comment and tell us what you’d love to see added!
⭐️Baxter is welcoming new growth with Anatolia Cabinet and Millwork bringing 50+ high paying jobs to the area.
⭐️Cookeville is nearly complete with many projects including the widening of South Jefferson, 2 new fire stations, and upgrades to Cane Creek Park. They are also looking for input on what you want to on the Westside in the 39 Depot Street development!
⭐️ Monterey is seeing big progress with the Nathan Walker Sports Complex nearing completion. Also, did you know Monterey has a storybook trail? You can take a stroll through town and read a locally authored book at different checkpoints!

Our community is moving full speed ahead, and we loved getting a closer look at what’s taking shape. Thank you to our sponsors Ascend Federal Credit Union and Home Caregivers for helping make this event possible!
