Torie Scott

Torie Scott joined the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce in May 2026 as Membership Manager.
In this position, Torie works alongside Director of Membership Karlyn Reel to strengthen member engagement and support the Chamber’s mission of connecting, promoting, and advocating for the local business community. Her responsibilities include coordinating ribbon cuttings, partnering with the Director to plan and execute Chamber events, overseeing the Chamber’s Adopt-A-School program, and developing marketing and communications materials that promote Chamber events, initiatives, and member success.
A graduate of Tennessee Technological University, Torie earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Through internships with the Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) and Alluvia Studio, she gained experience in marketing, communications, design, and small business development. Working alongside entrepreneurs at the TSBDC inspired a passion for empowering the businesses that make communities strong, naturally leading her to the Chamber.
Torie is passionate about thoughtful details, creating spaces for community, and supporting those around her succeed. When she’s not at the Chamber, Torie can often be found serving in her church community, working on a DIY project, reading a good book, or spending time with the people she loves.
