COOKEVILLE, TN – Natasha Calhoun has joined the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce as Director of Membership Development and Experience effective Monday, January 4th.
A native of Athens, Tennessee, Calhoun comes to the Chamber with years of experience in both small business and corporate work. Most recently, Calhoun served as a Marketing Consultant with Keckler Neely Co., a marketing firm out of Mt. Juliet, assisting businesses in their brand strategy, social media, content creation and paid media efforts.
Calhoun is no stranger to the Upper Cumberland, receiving her bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech in 2010. She also served as the Restaurant Marketing Director for Cookeville’s Chick-fil-A from 2014 to 2020.
Calhoun commented on her new endeavor, “The Upper Cumberland has felt like home to me since I came to Tennessee Tech in 2006. I have found a passion in helping businesses grow and thrive in our area. It is an honor to step into a role where I can support that growth and serve the businesses who do so much for our area.”
In her new role, Calhoun will be tasked with overall experience, growth and retention of chamber membership. Her responsibilities include member engagement and recruitment, management of ambassador team, cultivating partnership with area businesses and production of networking events for members.
Calhoun joins an impressive team at the Chamber, an organization that additionally houses both the Highlands Economic Partnership and the Cookeville-Putnam County Visitors’ Bureau, under the leadership of Chamber President Amy New.
