After opening in 1979 in Livingston, TN and experiencing 25 years of growth, our team expanded to Cookeville, TN with a location on Neal Street in 2005. Our third location was just completed on Willow Avenue in Cookeville in March of 2015. This contemporary office is located near Cookeville’s West Side as well as Tennessee Technological University and Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Our team has experienced tremendous growth the past five years and we are so excited about the future of the communities we serve. Our top priority is dedication to our team, our customers and our communities.

Marty Maynord serves as the CEO of American Bank & Trust. He joined the team in October of 2009 and has 24 years of community banking experience in this market. Marty is a graduate of Tennessee Tech University with a degree in Accounting. He serves on the board of directors for the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Livingston Rotary club and participates in many community events.
