By: Zach Buckner | 06.20.16

It all began in 1957, when IWC Food Service first opened their doors and began as the Upper Cumberland’s home town food supplier. For more than 59 years, the IWC Food Service tradition of quality, value & professional service has been the standard at this family-owned business. Today, IWC Food Service continues to focus on identifying and implementing innovative business practices to ensure that their products achieve the highest standard of quality as well as impeccable customer service.   This culture has been instilled by owner and CEO, Jimmy Mackie.  Mr. Mackie believes in the humble and honest way of doing business, with his motto being the golden rule of “treating others as you want to be treated”.

IWC Food Service offers a broad line of food products and cleaning supplies to a variety of “food away from home” professional kitchens; restaurants, lodging, retail stores, recreation, hospitality, health-care and governmental institutions.

IWC operates a state-of-art distribution center in the heart of Algood, TN servicing customers via truck delivery.  For drive-up convenience, a sales counter is located at the distribution center for quick pick up. IWC also has a fully stocked “Cash and Carry” store in Cookeville at 681 South Willow for a more browse & shop atmosphere.
Both locations are open to the public with no membership card or contracts required.
